Here is a quick primer on the certifications Rasor Marketing Communications holds.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise(DBE). Rasor is certified by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) as a DBE. This certification is a federal designation and helps to ensure there is no discrimination in the award of federal DOT contracts for transportation projects.

Small Business Enterprise(SBE).Rasor is certified by the City of Cincinnati as an SBE. The city sets forth goals for projects operating within the City of Cincinnati and provides additional opportunities for designated agencies to work as prime contractors or subcontractors.

WBE – Women’s Business Enterprise– Rasor is certified by WBENC (the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) as a certified woman-owned business. This certification indicates that a business is more than 51% “owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women.”

Encouraging Diversity Growth and Equity(EDGE) is the certification we have attained from the State of Ohio. This program has established goals for state agencies as they procure services and supplies and gives our agency the opportunity to participate in a variety of Ohio contracts as an EDGE certified agency.
