One of the best things about working for a Cincinnati-based marketing and communications agency is the wide variety of clients we are fortunate to work with.
From partnering with area healthcare systems like Mercy Health and The Jewish Hospital to managing public works projects and providing support to municipalities like the City of Mason, we have the opportunity to do many different things and really leverage our depth and breadth of experience to help our clients achieve their goals.
So, when Flipdaddy’s Burgers and Beers approached us to help them raise awareness through strategic social media efforts and updated collateral, including a new brand and logo, naturally we flipped out (or at least jumped at the chance to work on a fun project like this).
The first challenge was to help Flipdaddy’s build a social media presence that reflected their brand as well as stand out among their competitors. After analyzing the social media landscape, we built key messaging around the tag line “Brilliant Burgers and Craft Beer Bar” and drafted clever posts that highlighted their unique beer and food offerings. As a result, Flipdaddy’s Facebook reach grew from 3,000 to 37,000 and fans grew an average of 2.6 percent per month. In addition, Twitter followers increased by an average of 4 percent per month.
The second challenge was to create a brand and logo that clearly communicated their funky personality and passion for their unique menu. We began by conducting an audit to discover what they were currently saying about their brand and then developed a key message track and logo that aligned with their new “Brilliant Burgers and Craft Beer Bar” tagline. We also helped update their menus with fun names, designed to showcase Flipdaddy’s wit and engage patrons even further. Our final step was to create presentation materials to launch the Flipdaddy’s brand in the franchise world and attract new investors.
Happily, our work for Flipdaddy’s went on to win us a PRSA Blacksmith Award, as well as lots of praise from the client.
