Fields Ertel Groundbreaking
The Client: The Warren County Transportation Improvement District was in need of an effective and all-encompassing way to communicate the importance, details and progress of this project.
Their Challenge: “We’re starting construction on a major roadway initiative to improve significant issues with congestion and safety. We want the public to be aware this project is beginning and keep them apprised of progress.”
Our Solution: “It’s Go Time” was the theme for a groundbreaking event with regional speakers, including the OKI Regional Council of Governments, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Governor Kasich’s office and other jurisdictions. We prepared media materials, memorable visuals (traffic lights that were switched on to green at the appropriate moment, as well as logo printed cookies… because we love any excuse to print these) and pitched media to attend.
The Results: More than $46K in broadcast, print and digital coverage from regional outlets including three daily papers, business journals, all local television stations and the local NPR affiliate. Go team.
