After graduating from Belmont University with a BA in communication studies, MJ Gabriel quickly joined the Rasor team. MJ brings her recent education, internship experience, and work ethic to Rasor. Her communications career began in 2023 on Freddie O’Connell’s successful mayoral campaign in Nashville where she managed events, assisted communications, and contacted voters. Seeking to combine her study of the art and science of communication with her passion and experience in civics and policy, MJ is thrilled to find herself researching and writing for the Public Works clients Rasor serves. They include the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor, the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, and many more.

A lifelong learner, MJ’s life mission is to find the best way to get words from one person’s brain to make sense to another person’s brain (if it was as easy as it sounded, she wouldn’t have a job). At her desk, she can be found dancing for no reason, shadowboxing her computer, and collaborating with her incredible team members. Away from the desk, MJ can be found watching TV shows meant for children, listening to music meant for people who were teenagers in 2004, and talking to herself, the only true person who understands her.
