Heather Elstun, Lead Creative Executive

Heather Elstun is a Cincinnati native with a love for branding, campaigns and finding creative ways to help bring messaging and communications to life. Her background includes a mix of nonprofit, agency and freelance experience, creating work for local government, corporate and nonprofit clients across a variety of industries.

Her design experience includes branding, print and digital marketing materials, advertising, social media, websites, signage and campaign collateral. She enjoys the balance of strategic thinking and creative problem solving that comes with delivering a message across different platforms and touchpoints.

While working as a graphic designer at Kenton County Public Library, Heather contributed to several public-facing projects including the City of Covington Book Bench Project and the lauded Flybrary space at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). She especially enjoyed designing the library’s Summer Reading campaigns to encourage and promote childhood literacy. Her work has been recognized with several awards from the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Heather holds a B.F.A. in Visual Communication Design and a B.S. in Psychology, graduating cum laude from Northern Kentucky University. She enjoys drawing on her background in psychology to better understand how people think and using that perspective to influence her design decisions. She’s passionate about the connection between design, communication and human behavior, and how thoughtful visuals can help people better connect with a message.

When she’s not designing, you can probably find Heather dancing. A lifelong dancer, she is currently pursuing her passion for tango. She also has two rescue dogs who are likely convinced they should be more involved in her creative process.
