Gina Stegner, Senior Account Executive
Gina Stegner’s 25 years in communications include experience in public and media relations, campaign management, social media strategy, brand and reputation management, strategic and crisis communications, event planning, marketing and news writing. A storyteller at heart, Gina knew in the second grade that she wanted a career involving writing, inspired by the first book about animals she wrote for her family.
She loves creating marketing and PR plans and thrives on tight deadlines. Gina began her career as a reporter at The Community Press Newspapers in Northern Kentucky, where she learned the ins and outs of city, county and state government, as well as the education system. She later freelanced for The Cincinnati Enquirer, Kentucky Post and Cincinnati Family Magazine while also providing marketing services to local businesses.
Prior to joining Rasor, Gina spent 18 years in communications at the Kenton County Public Library, the top-ranked library system in Kentucky. She led media relations and signature projects such as the Summer Reading program, a systemwide video series and social media strategy, while collaborating on a major library rebrand and the launch and promotion of the CVG Airport Library. She also secured event sponsors and worked closely with the KCPL Foundation and leadership team. Her work helped tell meaningful stories, grow engagement and build trust across earned, owned and digital channels.
Her work has earned her eight Blacksmith Awards from the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, in addition to recognition as the 2025 Public Relations Professional of the Year. She also received a Cincinnati American Marketing Association Pinnacle Award and has earned multiple awards from the Kentucky Press Association.
Gina is a volunteer board member for the Girl Scouts of Kentucky Wilderness Road Council and holds a BA in journalism and speech communication from Northern Kentucky University.
