Erika Turan, APR, Senior Account Executive
Erika Turan brings more than 23 years of marketing, strategic planning and leadership thought to Rasor. As a Senior Account Executive, Erika provides clients with outstanding writing, strategic counsel, planning and tactical execution skills. She loves a good “to do” list and once learned a valuable lesson about coordinating a balloon release in close proximity to an air intake system.
Erika began her career with 15 years of rising leadership that shaped the public relations and marketing of some of Cincinnati’s largest healthcare systems, handling media relations, crisis communications, brand management and strategic marketing. She played a vital role in the re-birth of The Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, following the closure of the hospital’s original location in Avondale, helping the hospital to increase preference and market share in patient services not previously offered in Cincinnati’s suburbs. She also led the marketing of the region’s largest cardiovascular service line, coordinating multi-million dollar advertising campaigns and grand opening galas.
At Rasor, Erika helps to craft strategic counsel, tactical execution and compelling storytelling for a broad range of clients that include The Summit Hotel, UC Health, Ethicon, Richards Industries, Solid Blend Technologies, Icon Solar, Mercy Health, AtriCure Inc., Flipdaddy’s Burgers & Beers, Meridian BioScience, Cintas, and The Christ Hospital Health Network.
Her work with the teams at Rasor has resulted in the Cincinnati American Marketing Association’s Pinnacle Award and multiple Blacksmith Awards from the Public Relations Society of America. She was also named a YWCA Rising Star and is the recipient of two Bronze Quill awards from the International Association of Business Communicators. Erika earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in English Writing from DePauw University and holds a number of volunteer roles in her community.
